• Decrease the MTU on your publicly accessable servers to 1280
• Contact and fix all the MTU restriction points on the internet which may be affecting people connecting to your services.

Geoff Huston and Matthew Luckie have done some investigation into the bandwidth implications of reducing the MTU. It would appear that the impact is minor as far as 1280
